But the actress and villain in an upcoming movie "Minions" never saw herself physically in such recognition.
Despite having a figure similar to that of a princess while shooting for this year's cover story, Bullock, insists she just laughed when she heard about the honour.
"No, really. I just said, 'That's ridiculous,' " she tells PEOPLE. "I've told no one."
Instead the Oscar winner accepted to have found that beauty in her role as mom to her 5-year-old son, Louis, adding that their life together is a reminder what is important.
She has this to say: "Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it's just so hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that,' " she explains.
"No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks
like they're in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren't trying."
As reported Peoples Magazine in the interview, to Bullock as a mom, her son Loius remains priority.
In the interview, on newsstands Friday, the “Gravity” star opened up about the joy of motherhood to son Louis, 5. She said her role as mother is the one that makes her feel most beautiful.
“When I first held him, I realized what my purpose in life was,” she said. “I’m the lucky one.”
She talked about her definition of beauty and what she’s learned about love.
“Everything I’ve learned about love I’ve learned from Louis, and that there is no such thing as being done loving. We have a lot of it,” she said.
Motherhood has changed her, she said. When her son asks her serious questions, she is honest with him on a level he can comprehend.
“It’s a beautiful thing,” she said. “I want him to be a good man who is good to women and really in touch with how he feels.”
In the Magazines latest issue, other star actresses like Taraji P. Henson, Laverne Cox and Vanessa Hudgens, and singers Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor also feature.
