The Ooni of Ife's burial  rites goes on as scheduled by the family and council of chief s who chose 14th August 2015 as the date for the burial.

Today is 14 August and Oba Sijuwade is finally laid to rest.
The funeral service was well attended by dignitaries, and other well meaning Nigerians.

Visibily present is Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who led other dignitaries to the interdenominational funeral service of the Ooni of Ife Oba Okunade Sijuwade which held at Enuwa Square,
Ooni of Ife's palace.
