Canadian Legendary singer Joni Mitchell‘s health has taken a worse turn as she is reportedly in a coma.
TMZ later reported that Joni Mitchell‘s close friend of 44years, Leslie Morris is trying to obtain legal permission to obtain conservatorship over her 71-year-old friend who is said to be unresponsive medically
with “no immediate prospects for getting better.”
Morris stated in the legal papers that she's taking custody of her friend since Mitchell has no close relatives
who could play the role of a conservator.
Mitchell was first admitted to the hospital on March 31 after she was found unconscious in her Los Angeles home. The music icon’s website later reported that the singer was “under observation in the hospital and is resting comfortably,” noting on April 3,
“We are encouraged by her progress and she continues to improve and get stronger each day.”
