South Africa Returns Nigeria's $15million

News are making the rounds that South Africa may have returned the sized $15 million allegedly intended for arms deal.

According to the South African Ambassador to Nigeria, Lulu Louis Mnguni, who confirmed Friday that Nigeria has received the said $15 million in connection with two arms deals that the South African authorities claimed to be illegal.


Online news medium, THE CABLE, reported that Mnguni reaction to the Collapsed building
of the Synagogue church of nations would in no way affect the relationship Nigeria and South Africa has build over the years.

But that the situation would only make the relationship stronger.

“South Africa’s relations with Nigeria comes a long way, so, now, this will actually make us much closer, to see how we can close some of these gaps that result in such accidents,” Mnguni said.

The Ambassador also clarified that the seizure of the fund is in no way connected to the
Synagogue saga.

“South Africa’s relations with Nigeria is priceless, it cannot be sold for $15 million. These are two separate incidents and, of course, the issue of the money has already been sorted out. Nigeria has been given the money,” Mnguni added.

It would be noted that the siezed fund was on separated instances;
September 5 $9.3million was sized and about a month later $5.7 million
was also seized bySouth Africa.
