Ebola Scare: Enyeama supports AFCON postponement


Supper Eagles goal stopper and captain Vincent Enyeama has lends his voice and is in support
of the cancellation and postponement of the AFCON 2015 to be hosted be Morocco.

Amidst the appeal, top of it is the Ebola scare that is ravaging the world.

According to Eyeama who hopes the championship doesn't happen as scheduled, said it was risky because in Africa everyone hugs and shake hands.


Morocco however, asked the Confederation of African Football to consider a postponement from
17 January to 8 February 2015, but the organizers decline.

Patriotic Enyeama who pledges his readiness to play if Nigeria qualifies for the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Moroccan football officials are ready to meet with CAF on 3rd November to further
discuss a futher postponement of the tournament and the it is wide spread and known that the
deadly Ebola Virus has claimed 4500 lives since its outbreak in west Afica in March.

CAF on the other hand is in talks with South Africa, Ghana and up to other five African countries
about hosting the event.

Representative of Caf are scheduled to meet in Algiers on 2 November to discus the situation
further as the tournament has never been postponed since its inauguration in 1957.
