Its shocking to report two huge stars Nina Dobrev, 26, and Michael Trevino, 30, are exiting the "TVD" The Vampire Diaries series.

According to the creator of TVD, Julie Plec, the show must continue despite confirmation of Nina and Michael’s departures and assures fans
that will not affect plans for the already renewed season seven.

HollywoodLife.com reported Julie's words:
                   We look forward to the insane and exciting challenge of continuing to tell stories of our Salvatore Brothers and our much-loved and gifted ensemble.

As fans know, renewed season seven will continue, however, it will be without its leading lady and beloved werewolf. While Nina and Michael will be missed, Julie will accept the challenge of carrying on without them.
