Widely celebrated and popular R & B pop group Styl-Plus
which was one of the hottest music groups in the early 2000s which made
waves with the smash singles, ‘Runaway’ and ‘Olufunmi,’ are currently trying to make a comeback to the mainstream music scene.
The group went underground several years ago after one of the three who make up the group, Tunde Akinsanmi decided to embark on a solo career, leaving Shifi Omoefe and Zeal Onyecheme to their fates.
In a recent interview with Vanguard, Shifi however, blames their misfortunes on management issue, revealing, however, that the group is planning to stage a comeback in 2015.
Shifi
further confirmed the group had a fallout with their management twice
which led to the long break and one of the group member opting out to
take up a solo music career.
According to the
group spokes person, there has been a lot of re-packaging and
re-branding which will bring back the lost glory of Styl-Plus and
restore confidence in their fans when they hit the music scene in 2015.
So to our fans he says STYL-PLUS is still in existence and not disbanded, regardless of the exit of Tunde.
Well
said by Shifi that It’s a free world Tunde opting out is what he wanted
for himself not like they were married in a court of law, funny
though.
While wishing Tunde who is getting
on well with his solo career, optimistic Shifi is saying it will
surprise you to see three of us come together again someday’....
