Aisha Buhari, Dolapo Osinbajo flag off Nigerian Women Against Corruption Project

Nigerian Women uniting in the fight against corruption is a new campaign initiative flagged off  by the Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari in collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, December 7th.




The Nigerian Women Against Corruption, WAC, project, which held at the International Conference Center, ICC, Abuja is aimed at engaging women across the country in a nationwide sustainable fight against corruption.


 Also present at the lauch is the wife of  the Vice president Dolapo Osinbajo, ministers and other women dignitaries.




According to the Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu,

"The choice of women is strategic, because we believe that they are torch-bearers in the anti-corruption crusade, and it is because of the important role they play in making the society a better place," He further added that:
"The WAC project is aimed at galvanizing Nigerian women to buy into the corruption fight and also to raise the consciousness of the consequences of corruption in the minds of their households.
