Duchess of Cambridge Kate
Middleton and Prince William have welcomed their second child, a
daughter, whose name is yet to be released.
The princess arrived at 8:34 a.m. May 2, 2015 after two-and-a-half hours at St. Mary's Hospital in London.
The baby will be fourth in line to the throne, with 21-month-old Prince George third in line and William's brother Prince Harry now fifth.
While we wait for the new royal baby's name to be revealed, here's an interesting piece on her 19th century namesake, the last Princess of Cambridge.
She was given the rather unflattering nickname of 'Fat Mary', but was also known as the original People's Princess. So not all bad then.
Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, born in 1833, was one of the best-known Royal philanthropists.
