What result in the explosion that occurred is presently not known as the Ascon Filling Station in Lekki Phase 1 is currently on fire.
Eyewitnesses can’t really tell what caused the explosion, but it is so bad that the fire has spread to the Lekki round about.
people who had queued for fuel had to leave their cars and run for their dear lives, so many cars have been destroyed in the fire, and fire service men are doing their to put the fire under control to prevent its escalation and spread to the Round-about and the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge.
